Pixel Pastures

     This is a small little game I made for a game jam about farming.

CONTROLS

• WASD: Pan / Move
• Scroll Wheel: Zoom in / out
• Left Click: Harvest plant
• Right Click: Pickup and drop item
• Middle Click: Upgrade plant

     The game is laid out on a grid where you can place plants. Your money is displayed in the upper right of your screen and the shop is at the bottom. All the the plants cost 5 coins, and the farmer is 50 coins. If you get tired of clicking, the farmer automatically farms the plants.

    A very important part of the game is putting plants nearby to grow more crops. If you put two different plants together, there is a chance you will gain extra coins from harvesting it. The more diverse your farm is, the better this gain will be.

    You can also upgrade plants. The cost of the upgrade is 15 coins at first but becomes more and more expensive as you upgrade it.
